Tom and Jerry

A number of spin-off series have been created and include, The Tom and Jerry Show (1975–1977), The Tom and Jerry Comedy Show (1980–1982), Tom and Jerry Kids (1990–1994), Tom and Jerry Tales (2006 –2008), and the Tom and Jerry Show (2014). The first feature film derived from the series is called Tom and Jerry, the film released in 1992 before the broadcast of a dozen TV movies between 2002 and 2017.

TV5 World

On November 30, 2007, the President of the Republic Nicolas Sarkozy was presented with a report on the audiovisual sector outside France which recommended the creation of a holding company which would oversee the television channels TV5 Monde and France 24, and the radio RFI[19] . This involves pooling the resources and coordinating the activities of French audiovisual companies broadcasting abroad[20] . The administrators of TV5 Monde are worried about this Franco-French project for which they were not consulted. Tensions appear on the editorial autonomy of the channel, its identity and its financing. An agreement is finally reached after bitter discussions: the holding company will only manage the French participation in the chain up to 49% [1],[21] . The Audiovisual holding outside France (future France Médias Monde) was created on April 4, 2008[18] .

From the mid-1980s and mainly thanks to Michael Eisner the company became a media group in the broad sense. The politics of the charismatic Michael Eisner were highly appreciated by financial circles until the financial problems of Euro Disney SCA and those of ABC in the mid-1990s. This period was marked by the development of numerous subsidiary brands and some major acquisitions, the most emblematic of which was that of the ABC network in 1996. Among the brands created are the Disney Store and the Disney Channel, a third amusement park concept, the production of animated television series[79] , the creation of numerous international productions.
