On May 25, 1949, a competition broadcast live on television made Jacqueline Joubert the first official announcer. Second is elected the young presenter Arlette Accart. These are the first two official speakers of the RTF. The first to intervene on the air being Jacqueline Joubert[4]. But the first so-called big star speaker is Catherine Langeais. Then come the telespeakerines Jacqueline Caurat, Jacqueline Huet, and Anne-Marie Peysson (who also presented the Palmarès des chansons with Guy Lux).
