5 Sesame Street<\/b><\/i><\/sup> is a television program for French youth, inspired by the American program Sesame Street<\/i> and broadcast on France 5<\/a> and Piwi from 2005 to 2007. This is the second Sesame Workshop production adapted for France after 1, rue S\u00e9same<\/i> (1978-1982).<\/p>\n

The first season includes seventy-five 26-minute episodes directed by Fran\u00e7ois Basset and Jul Mallard. Co-produced by Expand-Drama and Sesame Workshop, it aired daily, Monday through Friday at 8:25 a.m., Saturday at 7:00 a.m.<\/abbr><\/span> and 12:00 p.m.<\/abbr><\/span> , and Sunday at 6:35 a.m.<\/abbr><\/span><\/p>\n
