Tender age and wood head is a variety music television program for young people hosted by Albert Raisner, recorded either at the Pierre-Charron club or at the bowling alley in the Bois de Boulogne, and broadcast from May 30, 1961 until 1965 on RTF Télévision then on the first channel of the ORTF.

The program continued from 1965 to July 1968 under the name of Head of wood and tender years .

These two shows are the televised counterpart of Hi buddies which is broadcast on Europe n ° 1 from 1959 to 1969.

Title of the program

The title of the show is based on the lyrics of the 1960 song. Stubborn by Gilbert Bécaud (words by Pierre Delanoë) . In 1964, the monthly magazine Miss Tender Age is in turn inspired by the title of the show. In 1967, Gilbert Bécaud also resumed the title for an album compiling his past successes, including Stubborn .
