Historical

Amuse 3 succeeds FR3 Youth on the air since 1975, from September 21, 1986 .

Amuse 3 is produced by IDDH with the participation of FR3, which imported the first Japanese animation series to France. An agreement with the Spanish company BRB allowed the use of the characters of the series David the gnome as virtual presenters (extracts from the episodes were edited and redoubled).

At the same time, IDDH is investing in several American series in order to increase the company’s French catalog, with the biggest successes coming from Ninja Turtles and of Denver, the last dinosaur , some scripts of which were written by Bruno-René Huchez or collaborators. This very efficient system made it possible to make the French studio work at the same time and to acquire at a lower cost an imposing catalog of programs considered as “French”.

In its first season, Amuse 3 is scheduled on Sunday evening from 5 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. then, from the start of the 1987 to 1990 academic year, Wednesday morning, Saturday morning, Sunday morning and Sunday evening (shorter than before).

During the summer of 1990, FR3 tested a daily program in the 2 p.m. time slot: Hush! Parents are resting. Building on this audience success, the show continues in the 5.30 p.m. time slot under the title Hello Bibizz! . From the January 7, 1991 , Hello Bibizz! disappears in favor of Amuse 3 which becomes daily.

The show is gradually losing air time to finally be broadcast only on Wednesday afternoon and Sunday evening. This formula will last until the end of the show in 1991.
